Hit a snag with posting or media? Here are the most common causes and what they mean.
A post came back Rejected
“Rejected” means Google blocked the post under its content rules - different from “Failed”, which is a technical or delivery error. For the specific reasons and how to fix them, see Why Google Rejects Your Posts.
You can’t post to a chain location
Google restricts posting to locations that are franchises or chains of 10 or more. This is a Google-side limitation, not a LocalOptics one, and it applies no matter how you publish.
My video didn't appear in the post
That is expected. When you add a video to a post, it is uploaded to the location's media rather than published inside the post itself. The post shows images.
Removing a location and your images
Removing a location does not delete images already published to Google - those stay on the listing. It only cancels scheduled images that haven’t published yet.
