Channels classify where your business comes from, the marketing source behind each call, job, and campaign, so MLAP can attribute activity to the right source and show which sources actually drive work and revenue.
Setting up channels
Channels are configured in the org-wide MLAP Settings, which are shared across all projects (not in a project's own Project settings). From the MLAP home, click MLAP Settings, then open the ServiceTitan tab. Its Tenants and Linking sub-tabs are for connecting ServiceTitan itself; three more sub-tabs handle channels:
Campaign mapping reviews and overrides the channel assigned to each ServiceTitan campaign. An auto-matched assignment can be changed by hand, and a locked assignment is kept and not overwritten by future auto-matching; use Unlock unmapped to clear assignments that were never matched.
Channel types is the list of channels. A set of predefined channels is always available; add a custom channel (a Name, plus an optional icon and color) for a marketing source specific to your business, such as Direct Mail.
Tracking phones sets each location's tracking phone number for each channel. ServiceTitan campaigns are then auto-matched to a channel by these numbers. GBP Phone uses the location's primary phone automatically.
Where channels are used
Once mapped, MLAP attributes ServiceTitan jobs and revenue to the right channel. That powers the colored channel chips and the channel breakdown on the Dashboard, and the Revenue by Channel block in the Location view's Jobs tab. This is separate from the Analytics tab's channel breakdown, which comes from GA4's own traffic channels rather than the channels you configure here.
