The System Behind Your Account

Most LSA managers set up an account and check in occasionally. Local Optics runs a full management system built around four pillars: automated feedback, deep auditing, proven stimulation protocols, and daily monitoring. Every piece exists because LSA accounts that aren't actively managed degrade — and when they go down, competitors take your ranking spot and you have to earn it back.

💡 Good to know: LSA ranking isn't a slot you buy once and keep. It's more like a leaderboard. You accumulate "goodwill" through consistent performance — reviews, responsiveness, feedback, and profile activity. Any downtime costs you that goodwill and requires active work to rebuild.

The Four Pillars

1. Automated Feedback Loop

Every time a lead comes in, Google needs to know what happened to it. Did the customer book? Was the call irrelevant? If Google doesn't get that feedback within 24 hours, it loses signal on which leads are good — and your ranking starts to degrade.

Our AI bot listens to every inbound LSA call in real time, evaluates lead quality, and dispositions each lead (Booked / Archived / Disputed) within minutes — not hours. It then sends that feedback directly to Google and logs everything for our team to review.

⚠️ Why this matters: Without automated dispositioning, the most common failure pattern is: client forgets to mark leads → Google loses signal → ranking drops → leads dry up → account dies. Our bot breaks that chain before it starts.

2. Deep Auditing

Before we change anything on an account, we run a full diagnostic. This covers policy violations, insurance and license status, billing, background check, recent lead volume and quality, review velocity compared to your top competitors, service area coverage, profile completeness, and current budget and bidding mode.

The audit drives every decision we make. We don't guess or make random adjustments — every change is grounded in what the data says.

3. Stimulation Protocol

When an account goes quiet — leads slow down or stop entirely — we run a proven stimulation protocol to signal to Google that the account is active and worth ranking. Changes are spread deliberately across 2–3 days (or longer for more stagnant accounts) to give Google time to process each signal. Doing everything at once doesn't work and can backfire.

This is a sequenced playbook, not a random set of tweaks. While we run it, we'll ask you to push hard on generating new reviews — that's your part of the protocol.

4. Daily Management

Every day, we check lead dispositioning, missed call monitoring, and bot health. Every week, we review lead volume against the prior week, review velocity, budget and bidding, and policy status. Every month, we refresh your profile, optimize service area coverage, run a competitive snapshot, and track insurance and license expiration dates. When problems need immediate attention, we escalate — every day offline is ranking goodwill you have to earn back.

What Actually Drives LSA Ranking

Understanding this helps you see why we focus on what we focus on:

Ranking Factor What It Means Reviews Volume, velocity, recency, and specificity. The single biggest factor. Responsiveness How fast and consistently you answer LSA leads. Feedback quality Consistent dispositioning teaches Google which leads to send you. Proximity How close your business is to the searcher — service area matters. Profile completeness Photos, bio, hours, job types — all signal legitimacy to Google.

What We Need From You

We handle the system. There are four things only you can do — and they directly determine how well the system performs.

Generate reviews consistently. Ask after every job. Steady velocity over time matters far more than a burst of reviews once a quarter. This is the #1 ranking factor in LSA and it's entirely in your hands.

Answer the phone. LSA leads call in real time. Missed calls hurt your responsiveness score and your ranking position directly. Every missed LSA call is a double cost — you lose the lead and you lose ranking goodwill.

Keep your documents current. Your insurance (COI) and business license must never expire. We track your expiration dates and give you 30-day advance warnings, but you own the renewals. An expired COI takes your account offline instantly.

Don't make unilateral account changes. Our optimization is sequenced and intentional. Random changes on the client side — adjusting budget, toggling job types, changing service area — can undermine the strategy we're running. If you want to make a change, let us know first.

⚠️ Important: The most common reason LSA accounts fail isn't budget. It's operators who stop generating reviews, stop answering calls, or let their insurance lapse. These are the fundamentals we can't automate for you.
